Graham criticizes Trump for removing the troops from Syria

Sen. Lindsey Graham, the strongest Republican defenders for President Donald Trump’s in the Congress who had blasted Trump over his decision of removing US troops. They were sent from Northern Syria as Turkey plans military offensive in the region. He also said that the decision taken by the President has taken out all the gains that they have made and had actually thrown the region to further chaos. He also said that the decision is very shortsighted and irresponsible one according to his opinion. 

Graham is actually a supporter of President who had split sometimes from him publicly and said that he likes Trump President. He also said that he tried to help him. Before his comments, White House had made announcements saying that Sunday night which was followed with phone call between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Trump. This move had marked a great shift in US foreign policy and had given green light to Turkey to attack US backed Kurdish force. 

Trump threatens to obliterate Turkey’s economy:

On Monday Trump vowed later in order to retaliate against Turkey and should the country do anything. He also tweeted saying that he will completely destroy and obliterate economy of Turkey. The President’s tweet was then followed by Graham who had tweeted to criticize Trump. In writing he said that whatever President Trump said about his decision, it’s the same as that of what President Obama did in Iraq. He also said that President Trump will reassess the situation and will take the sound military advice as required. The administration said that around 1000 troops were operating in North Eastern Syria. Former US Ambassador also said to United Nations Nikki Haley also criticized Trump’s move in a tweet.
