Start by researching your subject. Find out what their interests are and how they spend their time. Look for information in authorized biographies and in interviews they have given on television talk shows or other media outlets.
If they are involved in a charitable project, make sure to include that in the article. Be careful not to make accusations or implications that might defame them. If you are writing about a celebrity, check that they are not engaged in a lawsuit or a dispute that might complicate your reporting. For example, if they are accused of child molestation that might have legal implications.
