Many independent recording artists, filmmakers and musicians are thriving even as the economy is in trouble. Some of these individuals are donating their time and talents to help raise funds for SU2C, the scientific organization and initiative bringing together world-class scientists at institutions across America, to accelerate their ability to turn major discoveries into breakthroughs that can make a difference in the fight against cancer. Others are utilizing technology to promote their work. Still, business is down in most record and film industries. Entertainment has become a form of economic survival for some, but for others it’s not what they are looking for.
