Automobiles are wheeled motor vehicles that are used for transportation. Most definitions say that they run on roads and seat one to eight people. They usually have four wheels and are mainly used to transport people. Here are a few different types of automobiles. Here are a few of the most common ones. Benz

Mercedes Benz Automobiles is a German automotive brand known for their commercial and luxury vehicles. The company is based in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. These vehicles have become synonymous with luxury.

Daimler

Daimler automobiles are a part of the Mercedes-Benz Group AG, a multinational automotive corporation headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of automobiles. The company was founded in 1926 as the merger of Benz & Cie. and Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft.

Maybach

The Maybach automobile started out as a company producing aircraft engines. By the early 1920s, the company had developed six and twelve cylinder engines that were ideal for installing in commercial vehicles. These engines were reliable and provided low-vibration running performance. The Maybach W 5 engine was widely used in buses, including Horch and Magirus models. Other Maybach vehicles included fire trucks and special vehicles.

Marcus

A history of Marcus Automobiles focuses on the inventor and his contributions to automotive design. In 1887, Marcus started collaborating with Marky, Bromovsky and Schulz, which led to the creation of the Marcuswagen. The car had a throttle control steering wheel, hand clutch lever and brake, and an amazingly advanced electrical system. The original model used a two-cycle engine but later was equipped with a revolutionary four-cycle engine.

Jellinek

Emil Jellinek, an Austrian Consul General in Nice, France, began selling automobiles to European aristocrats. He sold French cars and became associated with the Alsatian cyclist Karl Lehmann and Nice’s mayor, Leon Desjoyeaux. The business became so successful that Jellinek built a mansion and branded his cars Mercedes.
